Deputy Chairman of the BiH Parliamentary Delegation to PA OSCE Albin Muslić participated in Istanbul at the annual autumn session of PSOSCE

Member of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Deputy Chairman of the Delegation of the PA BiH to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Albin Muslić, participated in the autumn annual session of the PA OSCE, which was held in Istanbul, Republic of Turkey.

This year's 23rd autumn session brought together around 200 parliamentarians from 53 countries and opened with welcoming speeches by the President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş, and the OSCE Secretary General, Feridun Sinirlioğlu, as well as the President of PA OSCE, Pere Pons, and the Head of the Turkish Delegation to PA OSCE, Selami Altınok.

Participants reflected on the multiple challenges and conflicts within the OSCE region and neighboring countries and welcomed positive steps in ​​security, as well as progress towards reconciliation between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The Parliamentary Conference, under the central theme “Revitalizing Multilateralism through Dialogue and Cooperation”, marked the 50th anniversary of the Helsinki Final Act. Through multiple sessions and panels, it brought together prominent speakers from the fields of international relations, economics and security, and encouraged the active participation of PA OSCE members. It was unanimously emphasized that there is no alternative to interparliamentary dialogue, and that the current challenges represent the perfect opportunity to strengthen interparliamentary dialogue and revive the cooperation that led to the establishment of the Organization.
