Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr Denis Zvizdić, receives delegation of the Konya Chamber of Commerce

"Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PA BiH), Dr Denis Zvizdić, met today with the delegation of the Konya Chamber of Commerce, headed by the Chairman of the Board, Selçuk Öztürk.

During the meeting, discussions focused on opportunities to enhance economic cooperation, strengthen trade exchange, and create conditions for new joint investments between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Türkiye. Particular emphasis was placed on the experiences of the Konya Region in the fields of agriculture and the food industry, renewable energy, the defence industry, technology, tourism, education and culture, as well as on the possibilities of applying these experiences and developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Dr Zvizdić thanked the delegation for their visit and their interest in strengthening cooperation, as well as for announcing the holding of regular meetings of the Joint Committee and the Assembly in Bosnia and Herzegovina. “It is a great honour and pleasure for us to host such an important event, which represents a significant step towards deepening the friendly and economic ties between our two countries,” said Dr Zvizdić, expressing hope that today’s meeting would contribute to further strengthening cooperation and open new opportunities for joint development and prosperity.

He also underlined the importance of reinforcing inter-institutional and economic cooperation, noting that economic ties make an important contribution to the overall political and cultural relations between the two countries.

The delegation of the Konya Chamber of Commerce expressed their gratitude for the reception and readiness to establish concrete projects and partnerships with domestic economic actors in the period ahead.
