Members of the Joint Collegium of both houses of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly met with the European Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos

Members of the Joint Collegium of both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH (PA BiH) met today with the Commissioner of the European Commission for Enlargement, Marta Kos, who is visiting our country for several days.
During the open conversation, Commissioner Kos emphasized the full support of the European Union for the efforts of Bosnia and Herzegovina to become a member of the European Union. In doing so, she called on the political forces in our country to make maximum effort and adopt the Growth Plan as soon as possible in order not to further lose the funds intended for the development of BiH projects in the coming period and to remove the obstacles that keep us far from negotiations and membership in the EU.
The members of the Joint Collegium introduced Commissioner Kos to different views of the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the causes of the stagnation on the European path. Today, it has been pointed out many times that there is no alternative and that it is in the interest not only of the people and citizens of our country, but also of the European Union, which, as Ms. Kos said, is very important for full political and any other stability to prevail in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Only such an environment, it was emphasized, is a guarantee for the prosperity of the entire country.
Commissioner Kos pointed out that Bosnia and Herzegovina will have the full support of the European Union authorities to achieve the development goals, but local political actors are invited not to miss open opportunities and to catch up with the countries of the region that use the opportunities offered in the interest of their people and citizens and take major steps on the way to the EU.
