Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dr Nikola Špirić received the Ambassador of Indonesia to BiH on an inaugural visit

"Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), Dr Nikola Špirić, received today, on an inaugural visit, the newly appointed Ambassador of Indonesia to BiH, H.E. Manahan Sitompul.
During the meeting, Speaker Špirić welcomed Ambassador Sitompul to Bosnia and Herzegovina and wished him a successful mandate, expressing his confidence that bilateral relations between the two countries will continue to develop and strengthen in all areas.
Ambassador Sitompul expressed his gratitude for the cordial reception and highlighted Indonesia’s commitment to further supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina on its path to stability and prosperity. He emphasised the importance of deepening inter-parliamentary cooperation as a key factor for strengthening overall relations. He expressed confidence that the announced visit of BiH parliamentarians to Indonesia will serve as a platform for further enhancing parliamentary relations, promoting cultural ties, and advancing dialogue on issues of mutual interest.
The interlocutors agreed that there is significant potential to expand cooperation, particularly in the areas of investment and tourism. In this context, Speaker Špirić briefed the Ambassador on the current political and economic situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, underlining the need for continuous internal dialogue among key political forces on all open issues in the country."
