Speaker of the House of Representatives of the PA BiH Dr. Denis Zvizdić received the newly appointed ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Bosnia and Herzegovina on his inaugural visit

Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PA BiH), Dr. Denis Zvizdić received the newly appointed ambassador of the State of Kuwait to BiH, H.J. E. Salah A. Albannai, who handed over copies of Letters of Credit at the beginning of May, thus officially starting his diplomatic mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the meeting, relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the State of Kuwait were assessed as traditionally friendly and based on mutual respect, understanding and support on the international level. It was pointed out that the two countries have no open issues, and that it is important to further improve bilateral cooperation through political dialogue, intensification of official visits and strengthening of inter-parliamentary cooperation.

They also discussed the possibilities of expanding economic cooperation, with special emphasis on the potential of military industry and the placement of Bosnia and Herzegovina products to the Kuwaiti market. The interlocutors agreed that there is room for increasing the volume of foreign trade exchange and the implementation of joint projects that would bring mutual benefit.

Cooperation in the field of tourism was highlighted as an extremely important area. Zvizdić said that Bosnia and Herzegovina recorded a constant increase in the number of visits from Kuwait. They especially praised the establishment of seasonal direct airlines that contribute to a greater influx of tourists and investments in tourist infrastructure.

Speaker Zvizdić expressed his gratitude to the State of Kuwait for its continuous support to Bosnia and Herzegovina and wished Ambassador Albannai a successful mandate and productive work for the further improvement of relations between the two friendly countries.
