Speaker of the House of Peoples of BiH, Dr. Nikola Špirić, receives the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to BiH

"Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), Dr. Nikola Špirić, met today with the newly appointed Ambassador of Turkey to BiH, H.E. Emin Akseki.

Welcoming the new ambassador, Dr. Špirić emphasized that the bilateral relations between the two countries are good and friendly, without any open issues, as evidenced by numerous high-level visits. Both parties agreed that in the coming period efforts should be made to improve economic relations, including increasing trade volume and investments from Turkey.

The meeting also covered the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the country's process of accession to the European Union. Both parties agreed that internal dialogue is the greatest guarantee of success.
