Members of the Chairmanship of the Joint Committee on European Integration of the PABiH met in Yerevan with the Vice President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia

The Chair of the Joint Committee on European Integration of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), Zdenko Ćosić, and the Deputy Chair of the Committee, Miroslav Vujičić, who are on a bilateral visit to the Republic of Armenia, met today in Yerevan with the Vice President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Ruben Rubinyan.

The meeting was also attended by Sona Ghazaryan, member of the Committee on European Integration of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. The participants exchanged information on the internal political situation in both countries. It was noted that Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Armenia share a number of similarities and face common challenges, particularly with regard to security issues and the preservation of lasting peace in the post-conflict period, as well as in the European integration process, which was recognised as a shared aspiration of both countries.

It was assessed that the relations between the two countries are good and friendly, and hope was expressed that this first bilateral visit by a parliamentary delegation from BiH to the Republic of Armenia would contribute to the further development of bilateral relations and interparliamentary cooperation between the two countries.
