Chair and Deputy Chair of the Joint Committee on European Integration of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Participated in the International Parliamentary Forum “Armenian Dialogue” in Armenia

The Chair of the Joint Committee on European Integration of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), Zdenko Ćosić, and the Deputy Chair of the Joint Committee, Miroslav Vujičić, who are on a bilateral visit to Armenia at the invitation of the Chair of the Committee on European Integration of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Arman Yeghoyan, participated today in the International Parliamentary Forum entitled “Armenian Dialogue.”
The international forum, which gathered parliamentarians from around the world in Armenia to discuss key contemporary topics and challenges, was opened with speeches by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, and the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, Robert Fico.
In his address during the panel entitled “Parliamentary Dimension of the Crossroads of Peace: Through Democracy Towards Security and Prosperity,” the Chair of the Joint Committee on European Integration of the PABiH, Zdenko Ćosić, first expressed satisfaction with the participation of our delegation at the “Armenian Dialogue,” and highlighted the similarities between Armenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, particularly regarding the preservation of peace in the post-conflict period, as well as their shared process of European integration.
Parliamentarians in Armenia also discussed the challenges faced by countries of the Eastern neighbourhood on their path towards European integration, as well as issues of regional cooperation and connectivity aimed at improving mutual foreign trade exchange.
During the two-day International Forum, parliamentarians will also discuss topics related to the green transition, connectivity in trade and transport, as well as policies in the field of artificial intelligence. (end)
