Speaker of the House of Representatives of BiH, Dr. Denis Zvizdić, receives the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to BiH on an inaugural visit

"Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), Dr. Denis Zvizdić, today received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Emin Akseki, on an inaugural visit.

During the cordial meeting, both parties expressed satisfaction with the traditionally good and friendly relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Turkey and reaffirmed their mutual commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of parliamentary cooperation, economy, education, and culture.

Speaker Zvizdić thanked Turkey for its continuous support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina and emphasized the importance of cooperation and mutual respect in regional and international relations.

Ambassador Akseki conveyed greetings from the highest officials of the Republic of Turkey and emphasized that during his mandate he would pay special attention to improving the overall relations between the two friendly countries.

Both parties agreed that Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Turkey share many common values and that there is great potential for enhancing cooperation in their mutual interest."
