Members of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albin Muslić and Branislav Borenović, took part in the OSCE PA and PACE election observation missions for the parliamentary elections in the Republic of Albania

Member of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH) and First Deputy Chair of the PABiH Delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA), Albin Muslić, together with Member of the House of Representatives of the PABiH and member of the PABiH Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Branislav Borenović, participated in the OSCE PA and PACE election observation missions for the parliamentary elections in the Republic of Albania, held on Sunday, 11 May 2025.

Muslić and Borenović, as participants in the missions that gathered 95 parliamentarians from different political groups of the aforementioned international organisations, observed the elections at polling stations in Durrës and Tirana.

Prior to election day, the parliamentarians took part in joint meetings and briefings of the international parliamentary organisations with all relevant political stakeholders, including Albanian Prime Minister and President of the Socialist Party Edi Rama, President of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha, as well as representatives of the non-governmental sector involved in the organisation and monitoring of the electoral process.

A total of 140 members of parliament were elected across 12 constituencies, including votes cast by Albanian citizens living abroad. The official results of the elections are expected to be announced in the coming days. (End)
