Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Denis Zvizdić, received the newly appointed Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to BiH on an inaugural visit
The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), Dr. Denis Zvizdić, today received on an inaugural visit the newly appointed Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Mohammed Meraimi.
During the meeting, they discussed the enhancement of bilateral relations, with a particular emphasis on strengthening interparliamentary cooperation. Speaker Zvizdić expressed gratitude for the cooperation between the two friendly countries to date and emphasized the openness to further deepening political dialogue, economic cooperation, and cultural ties.
His Excellency Ambassador Meraimi expressed his satisfaction for being honored with the opportunity to represent his country in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and emphasized the importance of building strong partnership relations based on mutual respect and shared interests. He conveyed an invitation from the Speaker of the Algerian Parliament to Speaker Zvizdić to pay an official visit.
Speaker Zvizdić wished Ambassador Meraimi a successful term and emphasized the Parliament’s readiness to provide full support in achieving his diplomatic goals aimed at strengthening the friendly ties between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Algeria.
