Members of the PA BiH Delegation to PA NATO, Kemal Ademović and Obren Petrović, participate in the seminar of the PA NATO Special Group for the Mediterranean and the Middle East in Antalya

Chair of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO (PA NATO) Kemal Ademović and Deputy Chair of the Delegation Obren Petrović participated in the seminar of the PA NATO Special Group for the Mediterranean and the Middle East, held from April 28 to 30 in Antalya, Republic of Turkey. Around 80 parliamentarians from 28 countries took part in the seminar, 20 of which are NATO member countries, six associate members, and Iraq and Jordan as regional partners.

The chair of the Delegation of Turkey to PA NATO, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, the Chair of the PA NATO Special Group for the Mediterranean and the Middle East, Fernando Gutierrez and the Deputy Chair of PA NATO, Ágnes Vadai, addressed the participants at the opening of the session.

During the first day, the growing role of the Gulf countries and the strengthening of NATO partnerships in this strategically important area are discussed. During the discussion, special attention was paid to the differences in economic strength and limitations between the Gulf countries and their neighbours, as well as the cooperation of the Gulf countries with the United States of America.
