Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH at the January session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg
Members of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Milica Marković, Saša Magazinović, Borjana Krišto, Ismeta Dervoz and Krunoslav Vrdoljak, will participate in the regular January session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), which will be held from 23 – 27 January 2012 in Strasbourg.
On the second day of the session, on 24 January, there will be discussions and adoption of draft resolutions on the topic, "Functioning of democratic institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina", the rapporteurs being the members of the Committee on the Honouring of Obligations and Commitments by Member States of the Council of Europe, Jean Claude Mignon from France and Ms. Karin S. Woldseth from Norway.
The President, Vice President, members of the Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, and the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe will all be elected during the session.
It is envisaged that, among others, the Prime Minister of Great Britain, David Cameron, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Nabil Al Araby, Director-General of UNESCO, Irina Bokova, Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe, Thomas Hammarberger and others will address the participants.
