The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Božo Ljubić, spoke with the Ambassador of Greece to BiH


Today, The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Božo Ljubić, received in inaugural visit the Ambassador of Greece Karolos Gadis, in Sarajevo.
The Deputy Speaker Ljubić thanked the people of Greece for the help provided to Bosnia and Herzegovina after the war in the reconstruction and rehabilitation, and particularly, as a former Minister of Health, in the construction and renovation of hospitals and the building of the institutions of BiH.

Topics of discussion included the continuation of co-operation between the two countries and the support of Greece to Bosnia-Herzegovina on BiH's path towards European Union integrations.
The conclusion was that it is in the common interest of both countries, the Balkans and Europe for BiH to become a member of the European Union as soon as possible.
The need to change the established perceptions of the Balkans in the world in a positive direction was emphasized.

Collocutors concluded the need to intensify co-operation of parliaments of the two countries as a basis for a better co-operation with other institutions. It is of importance to have roads linking the region, including BiH and Greece, and from air traffic to the road corridor, specifically the Adriatic-Ionian road, which will connect the region with the rest of Europe.
It was also expressed that BiH should become a part of the European Union and work together on further integration of the European Union as soon as possible.
