The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Denis Bećirović, spoke with the Ambassador of Greece to BiH
Improving relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Greece is a strategic interest for the two friendly countries, because open disputable issues do not exist between them, it was said during today's meeting of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Dr. Denis Bećirović, with the ambassador of Greece in BiH, Karolos Gadis.
Dr. Denis Bećirović pointed out that a special open issue for linking the economic sphere, which would stimulate the organization of a business forum and bring together business communities of BiH and Greece. The economic feasibility could be achieved with direct airline flights, which would connect Sarajevo with Thessalonica or Athens in the future.
The Ambassador Gadis emphasized that in the first half of 2014, Greece will preside over the European Union, which will be an opportunity to enhance the processes of EU enlargement countries to the Western Balkans. In addition, he said that Greece is willing to provide significant help in the path of Bosnia and Herzegovina towards the NATO full membership. (end)
