Permanent Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE PA) will participate at the OSCE PA Winter Meetings in Vienna
Members of the permanent Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH PA) in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE PA), Dr. Dragan Čović, Mirza Kušljugić and Lazar Prodanović will participate at the OSCE PA Winter Meetings from 23-24 February 2012 in Vienna.
Two separate sessions of the Committee on Political Affairs and Security, the Committee on Economic Affairs, Science, Technology and the Environment, and the Committee on Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Issues will be held on the first day of the Winter Meetings, including a joint session of the three Committees.
The joint session will be opened by the President of the OSCE PA, Mr Petros Efthymiou, while the President of the Austrian Parliament, Ms Barbara Prammer, and the Secretary General of the OSCE, Mr Lamberto Zanier will address participants during the session. Presentations of reports by the OSCE High Commissioner for National Minorities, Ambassador Knut Vollebaek, and the OSCE PA Special Representative on Gender Issues, Ms Hedy Fry, are planned, including a debate on “the Future of Conventional Arms Control in the OSCE area.” (end)
