Ognjen Tadić, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina met with the Ambassador of Norway

Today, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ognjen Tadić met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to our country, Vibeke Lilloe.

Mr. Tadić asked his guest to pass on his dissatisfaction to the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the Report and Resolutions of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly on the functioning of democratic institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, drafted also by the representative of the Parliament of Norway to the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly, Karin Woldseth.
The Deputy Speaker, Ognjen Tadić emphasized that the report represents direct interference with the internal affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, supports extremists and creates stereotypes that do not help to resolve the problems.

However, describing the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples expressed regret for the wasted time in the post-election period, which would not have occurred if politicians from the Federation had followed the Dayton Peace Agreement. In addition, he expressed the hope that in the future the Council of Ministers will be assembled immediately after the election results are confirmed. Also, added Tadić, we hope that in the future there will be more political maturity in order to redirect focus from political interests to economic issues and crisis management.

On the other hand, Ambassador Lilloe was interested in the budget adoption of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2012, as well as in the estimated budget framework to 2014. Accordingly, Ognjen Tadić said that the budget will allow as much spending as it is possible to earn, because any new loan could represent a serious treat to the economy. (end)
