Representative in the House of Representatives of the PABiH and deputy chair of the Delegation of the PABiH to PA OESS Albin Muslić participated in the Third Interparliamentary Forum of Delegations of the Parliaments of Southeast Europe countries to PA OESS

Representative in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PA BiH) and deputy chair of the Delegation of the PA BiH to the OESS Parliamentary Assembly (PA OESS) Albin Muslić participated in the Third Interparliamentary Forum of the delegations of the parliaments of South  East Europe countries to the OESS, which was held from March 27 to March 30 in Kastoria, Republic of Greece.

Pia Kauma, President of the OESS PA and Secretary General Roberto Montella addressed the delegations via video message. Moderated by the Chairman of the Greek Delegation to the PA OESS, Angelos Syrigos, and the Special Envoy for South-Eastern Europe of the PA OESS, Kyriakos Hadjiyiannis, the discussion focused on the energy transition of Greece in this decade and energy policy in South-Eastern Europe. The Forum participants underlined that the transition to renewable energy sources is necessary and represents an issue of regional importance, as well as of importance for the entire European continent. Commitment was expressed to the diversification of supply and energy security.

The last day of the Forum included a visit to the recently launched lignite-fired power plant, Ptolemaida V in the city of the same name, which, through its planned conversion, represents the aspiration of the state policy of the Republic of Greece for transition within the energy sector.

Finally, the Declaration of the Third Interparliamentary Forum was adopted, which primarily emphasized the importance of dialogue between the countries of Southeast Europe. The declaration emphasized the need for accelerated regional integration within the energy sector, along with the strengthening of infrastructure and the integration of renewable energy sources, which, as stated, will culminate in the strengthening of the economies of Southeast Europe countries.
