The Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dr. Dragan Čović met with the Head of the Council of Europe Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina
"Today, Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Dragan Čović met with the Head of the Council of Europe Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mary Ann Hennesey in Sarajevo.
The meeting was an opportunity to exchange views on the current situation and prospects in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the context of political and economic reforms in the country and further directions and priorities of the Euro-Atlantic integration processes.
Constitutional reform and activities for seeking solutions and modalities of implementation of judgment of the European Court of Human Rights in the case ‘Sejdić and Finci v. Bosnia and Herzegovina’, were themes stressed during the meeting.
Continuous dialogue and cooperation, moderate and realistic politics, mutual respect and agreement, as well as mutual solutions represent the only correct path toward the positive process necessary for the future of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its European perspective, in the interest and benefit of the all peoples and citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was the conclusion at the end of the discussion,” reported the office of the speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
