The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Dr. Milorad Živković, spoke with the Ambassador of Romania to BiH
The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Dr. Milorad Živković, received the Ambassador of Romania to BiH, Philip Teodoresku, in Sarajevo.
At the meeting, discussions focused on the development of bilateral relations between BiH and Romania, and the importance of BiH accession to the EU was highlighted. Živković and Teodoresku also discussed the impact of the economic crisis on the economies of BiH and Romania and the Romanian experience of overcoming the negative effects of current economic developments.
Ambassador Teodoresku showed interest in the implementation of the ruling of the European Court of Human Rights in the Sejdić-Finci case and the role of the BiH Parliament in the implementation of the ruling. During the meeting, the importance of parliamentary co-operation between the two countries and the continuation of good relations in the future was highlighted.
