The Delegation of the Joint Committee on Defence and Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina in a visit to the OSCE Secretariat in Vienna

 
Today, the Delegation of the Joint Committee on Defence and Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, represented by the Chair Dušanka Majkić, the first Deputy Borjana Krišto, and a member of the Committee Nermina Zaimović-Uzunović visited the OSCE Secretariat in Vienna.

During the meeting, they discussed the cross-border co-operation in the South-Eastern European region, conflict prevention and crisis management.
The members of the delegation visited the Operational Centre and the Conflict Prevention Centre of the OSCE Secretariat, where they were informed about the Centre’s activities. Accordingly, they had an opportunity to discuss the issues important for Bosnia and Herzegovina and for the region in general.

However, special attention was devoted to the issues of the combating and prevention of terrorism, capacity building for the combating of terrorism, and the activities for the fulfilment of military and political duties of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In addition, representatives of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina were present at the meeting in the OSCE Secretariat in Vienna. (end)
