The Speaker of the House of Representatives Dr. Milorad Živković on the 10th conference of Presidents of Parliaments of the Adriatic-Ionian Initiative members

 
The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dr. Milorad Živković will participate at the 10th conference of Presidents of Parliaments of the Adriatic-Ionian Initiative members, which will be held on the 26th April 2012 in Belgrade.

The participants will discuss the topic: “The strengthening and improvement of regional cooperation in the Adriatic-Balkan basin”, after which the adoption of a joint declaration is planned. Apart from the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, participants are the Adriatic-Ionian Initiative members: Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Slovenia, Greece and Italy.

The Adriatic-Ionian Initiative was founded at the Conference on the Security and Development of the Adriatic and Ionian Sea, held in Ancona in 2000, with the aim of securing the Adriatic-Ionian zone, intensifying cooperation between the regional countries and developing initiatives for the countries in transition toward their path to integration processes and EU membership.
