Members of the Delegation of BiH PA in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Božo Ljubić and Asim Sarajlić participate in the Spring Session of the NATO PA in Tallinn

 
Members of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Dr. Božo Ljubić and Asim Sarajlić, are participating in the plenary session at the Spring Session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (NATO PA), which began today in Tallinn.

In the opening section, participants were addressed by the Chairman of the NATO PA, Dr. Karl A. Lemers, the NATO Deputy Secretary General, Alexander Vershbow, the President of the Republic of Estonia, Toomas Hendrik Ilves and the President of the Parliament of Republic of Estonia, Ene Ergma.

Dr. Ljubić and Sarajlić, besides participating in the work of NATO PA Committees where they discussed the Chicago NATO Summit, the situation in Afghanistan, the concept of "Smart Defence", cyber-security and the need for more intensive co-operation between the member countries of the Alliance, also had meetings with the parliamentary delegations of Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia.
Participants in the Spring Session of the NATO PA supported an open door policy for membership of NATO for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Georgia and Macedonia. (end)
