A Member of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Ismeta Dervoz at the meeting of the PACE Committee on Equality and Non-Discrimination in Paris


Ismeta Dervoz, a member of the delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH in the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly (PACE), will participate at the meeting of the PACE Committee on Equality and Non-Discrimination. The meeting will be held on 4 June in Paris. Rapporteurs will present on the topics: "Muslim Women in Europe: for Equal Opportunities", "Role of NGOs in Countering Nationalism, Migrantophobia and Xenophobia in Europe", and "The Situation of Roma in Europe: Movement and Migration."

Within the topic, "National Authorities for Combating Discrimination - the Case of France", participants will have an opportunity to exchange views with the Ombudsman, Dominique Baudis and his Deputy, Maryvonne Lyazid. Within the topic "Selection of Half of Child Before Birth", a conversation will be held with Christoph Guilmoto, Director of research in demography, Centre Population and Development, University Paris.
