The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Milorad Živković, spoke with the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Bosnia and Herzegovina


Today, the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Milorad Živković, met with the non-resident Ambassador of Cuba to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Soraya Alvarez Nunez.

During the meeting, the collocutors concluded that between the two countries there are no unresolved questions, and that this forms a good basis for the improvement of relations at all levels between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Cuba. Also, Živković and Nunez concluded that it is necessary to develop economic ties and improve co-operation in the economic field.
The visa regime between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Cuba was improved after an official visit of the delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Cuba in early 2008 on the invitation of the National Assembly of Cuba. During the visit, a draft Memorandum on Parliamentary co-operation was delivered to the Cuban delegation. The signing of this memorandum would improve inter-parliamentary co-operation between the two countries, reported the Cabinet of the Speaker of the House of Representatives. (end)
