The Deputy Speakers of the House of Peoples and of the House of Representatives, Ognjen Tadić and Dr. Denis Bećirević at the First World Summit of Legislators

 
The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Denis Bećirević, and the Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples, Ognjen Tadić, participated at the First World Summit of Legislators held in Brazil.

The summit was organized with the aim of greater parliamentary involvement in environmental processes, in the calculation of the value of natural capital and in the reduction of the effects of climate change worldwide.

During the three-day session, the heads of parliaments of all countries in the world will discuss the role of legislators in monitoring and verifying the work of the executive and will also adopt a set of principles for oversight of the executive. (end)
