Mr. Jenkins said that his country places great importance on the stability of the Balkans, and he emphasized that they will be actively engaged in the activities of the countries in the region on their path toward the EU. In addition, he emphasized that the international community do not want to impose any solutions, but rather that international community tries to be an equal partner to Bosnia and Herzegovina on its path toward the EU.
The members of the delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina spoke with Owen Jenkins about the situation to which Bosnia and Herzegovina will be exposed, regarding the export of commodities once the Republic of Croatia becomes a member of the EU. According to Jenkins, even though the standards and EU regulations regarding the export and import of commodities will not be changed, Great Britain wants to help create the conditions for the export of BiH products into EU countries.
