The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Marinko Čavara, visited the Permanent Mission of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the UN in Geneva

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH) and Vice Chairman of the PABiH Delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), Marinko Čavara, who is participating in the 149th IPU Assembly, visited the Permanent Mission of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the United Nations (UN) and other international organizations during his stay in Geneva.

Čavara met with Bosnia and Herzegovina's Ambassador to the Permanent Mission to the UN, Bojan Vujić, and Deputy Ambassador Lucija Ljubić. They discussed the functioning of the Mission in the context of an increasingly dynamic international environment. The conversation also touched upon Bosnia and Herzegovina's role in multilateral platforms, as well as the challenges and opportunities for strengthening the country's diplomatic presence in the UN and other international organizations. Further possibilities for enhancing cooperation between the Mission and domestic institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina were also considered.

The IPU Assembly, which was also attended by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the PABiH and Chairman of the PABiH Delegation to the IPU, Dr Denis Zvizdić, and MP Ermina Salkičević-Dizdarević, a member of the PABiH Delegation to the IPU, brought together parliamentarians from around the world to discuss global challenges and promote parliamentary cooperation and action.
