Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the PABiH, Dr. Denis Zvizdić, attended the official opening of the 18th International Business Fair "Tešanj – 2024.“

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), Dr. Denis Zvizdić, attended the official opening of the 18th International Business Fair "Tešanj – 2024" today. Indonesia is the partner country of this year's fair, while the partner city is Cazin.

In his address, Dr. Zvizdić stated that the goal is for Bosnia and Herzegovina to be a secure and prosperous country with promising investment opportunities, accompanied by the strengthening of the rule of law and necessary reforms. This, he emphasized, will enable the professional, strategic, and synchronized use of legal, economic, and planning instruments to put the country's resources at the service of economic development and growth.

He highlighted several key objectives and stressed that business leaders can play a greater and more significant role than politicians, as they possess the knowledge and experience in their respective fields. He urged them to insist on the adoption of the necessary reforms outlined in the European Union's Growth Plan for the Western Balkans. He also emphasized the importance of retaining young people, restoring trust in state institutions, fighting corruption, and demonstrating that the interests of the state, its citizens, and the business community come first.

"Bosnia and Herzegovina can and knows how to achieve this. You, the businesspeople of Tešanj, are the best proof that we are capable. However, we need peace, security, and political stability to focus on building the basic infrastructure as the foundation for dynamic economic development, and then on developing entrepreneurial infrastructure and creating jobs," said Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the PABiH, Dr. Denis Zvizdić, in his speech at the opening of the 18th International Business Fair "Tešanj – 2024."
