The seminar also addressed the Baltic Sea region, emphasizing its geographical and strategic significance, and the need for increased efforts to ensure the security of the Baltic area following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The importance of Finland and Sweden's accession to NATO was underscored, with an assessment that this has strengthened security and deterrence policies against Russia in the Baltic Sea region.
