The members of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly held a meeting with the members of the Delegation of the Republic of Türkiye in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly
Chairman of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH) to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (PANATO) Kemal Ademović and the Deputy Chairman of the Delegation Obren Petrović held today, during the spring session of the PANATO in Sofia, a bilateral sideline meeting with the Chairman of the Delegation of the Republic of Türkiye to the PANATO Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and the member of the Delegation of the Republic of Türkiye and the Chairman of the Committee on Economy and Security of the PANATO Faik Oztarık.
Çavuşoğlu welcomed the meeting of the members of the two delegations, emphasizing the good and friendly bilateral relations, understanding of the political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and positive dialogue of the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan with the leading Bosnian-Herzegovinian politicians. He also highlighted the involvement of Turkish business subjects in Bosnia and Herzegovina, particularly in work on the construction of several highways in our country. Through his many years of diplomatic experience, he recognized the cooperation of countries in all fields and confirmed that there is certainly room for improvement in inter-parliamentary cooperation.
Chairman Ademović expressed his gratitude for this meeting and emphasized the long and fruitful cooperation between the two countries. He expressed a desire to intensify the cooperation between the two delegations within the PANATO, taking into account the position of the Republic of Türkiye within the PANATO, as well as the recent upgrade of the position of the Delegation of PABiH, which was also confirmed by the members of the Delegation of the Republic of Türkiye.
