The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Marinko Čavara, held a meeting with the Director of the Directorate for European Integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), Marinko Čavara, met today with the newly appointed Director of the Directorate for European Integration (DEI) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elvira Habota.

During the meeting, they discussed the dynamics of fulfilling the commitments related to the 14 priorities outlined in the European Commission's Opinion, aiming to open negotiations for full EU membership by the end of this year.

The meeting also covered the responsibilities and obligations of the DEI in the process of European integration for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The need for stronger engagement of all institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina involved in the European integration process was emphasized, with the goal of accelerating the country's progress towards EU membership. (Statement from the Office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives Marinko Čavara)
