The Speaker of House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Božo Ljubić, and Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Ognjen Tadić, meet the Deputy Speaker of Lithuanian Seym


On the sidelines of the European Conference of Presidents of Parliaments in Strasburg, the Speaker of House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Božo Ljubić, and Deputy Speaker Ognjen Tadić talked with the Deputy President of Lithuanian Seym Česlovas Stankevičius.

Mr. Stankevičius proposed that Lithuania pass on certain experiences of his country in the process of approaching the European Union that could be beneficial for Bosnia and Herzegovina, as BiH is also a small country like Lithuania. In addition, the collocutors exchanged views about the current issues and standards that BiH should fulfil on its road to the EU.
Thanking him for Lithuania’s support to the European Road of BiH, Dr. Ljubić and Tadić expressed the undivided determination of BiH political leaders to join the EU, also asking for understanding for occasional delays in fulfilling European standards. (end)
