Member of the House of Representatives of the PABiH Mia Karamehić - Abazović spoke with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to BiH

Member of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH) Mia Karamehić - Abazović spoke today with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to BiH, María Teresa Lizaranzu Perinat about the European path of our country and the improvement of bilateral co-operation between the two countries.

At the meeting, it was stated that bilateral relations between the two countries are good and friendly, and it was emphasized that it is necessary to improve economic co-operation, increase the level of investments and foreign trade exchange, and further strengthen co-operation in the field of tourism, education and culture. They also discussed possibilities of strengthening inter-parliamentary co-operation.

The interlocutors exchanged opinions on the current political situation in BiH and the region, in the light of the European Union enlargement process. It was emphasized that reforms and the European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina need to be accelerated. In this regard, Ms. Karamehić-Abazović said that an early decision of the European institutions to open pre-accession negotiations with our country would be a significant incentive for domestic political forces and a huge support for all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
