Members of the PA BiH Delegation to Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe met in Strasbourg with the rapporteurs of the Monitoring Committee of PACE
Members of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PA BiH) to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Saša Magazinović, Darijana Filipović, Sabina Ćudić and Branislav Borenović, who are participating in the second part of the regular annual session of the PACE in Strasbourg, held a meeting with the rapporteurs of the Committee for respecting obligations and engagement of member states of the Council of Europe (Monitoring Committee), Zsolt Nemeth from Hungary and Aleksandr Nikoloski from North Macedonia.
At the meeting, it was emphasized that the government at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina was formed and that the current focus is on the formation of the government in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. They also discussed the European integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the integrity of the election process. Also, the members of the PA BiH Delegation informed the reporters of the Monitoring Committee about their view of the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Members of the PA BiH Delegation were informed during the meeting that the next report on BiH will be on the agenda of PACE at the beginning of next year, at the January or April session. It was announced that, as part of gathering facts for that report, the Monitoring Committee's reporters will visit Bosnia and Herzegovina at the end of June this year and hold a series of meetings with representatives of the government and the opposition, as well as with the High Representative of the international community in BiH and representatives of the civil sector.
