The Members of the Friendship Group for Western Europe of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina in a visit to the Federal Republic of Germany
During a visit to the Federal Republic of Germany, the Deputy Speakers, Boško Tomić and Borjana Krišto and members of the Friendship Group for Western Europe of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mirsad Mešić, Krstan Simić and Nermina Ćemalović met with the representatives of the German Bundestag and exchanged experiences on the work of the Parliaments of the two countries. The representatives of the Bundestag expressed their interest in the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and expressed their support for activities regarding the conditions which our country has to fulfil on its path toward EU integration.
The Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina held a meeting with the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs while, during a visit to the Ministry of Justice, the Delegation was introduced to the organization of the judiciary and prosecutor's office which will be a valuable experience for the forthcoming reforms of the judiciary in Bosnia and Herzegovina, it was emphasized during the discussion.
The members of the Friendship Group for Western Europe of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina held a meeting with the President of the Brandenburg Landtag, Gunter Fritsch, and with the members of the Parliamentary Committee on Internal Affairs.
Today, the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina will, as an observer, attend a session of the German Bundestag, after which meetings are planned with Marieluise Beck, Chair of the Friendship Group for Bosnia and Herzegovina and with members of the EU Affairs Committee, the Committee on Internal Affairs, the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Committee on Legal Affairs.
