Member of the Permanent Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Ismeta Dervoz, presented the Draft Resolution „Industrial Heritage in Europe“
At today's meeting of the Committee on Science, Culture, Education and Media of the Council of Europe, member of the Permanent Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ismeta Dervoz, presented the Draft Resolution „Industrial Heritage in Europe“ which was unanimously adopted by the Committee. This is the last step before the adoption of the report and the resolution by the Standing Committee of the Council of Europe which is scheduled for March this year.
H.E. Ambassador Almir Šahović of the Permanent Mission of BiH to the CoE attended also the Committee meeting. He announced activities which might follow the adoption of the first report of the Rapporteur from BiH throughout the year, the setup of an exhibition on industrial heritage in cooperation with ambassadors from all CoE member states.
Mrs. Ismeta Dervoz, MP, participated also in the work of the Network of Parliamentarians, „Women free from violence“. In cooperation with the CoE Committee on Migration, Refugees and Displaced Persons and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees and with participation of the judicial and police experts and the witnesses of the victims, the parliamentarians talked about problems related to women refugees and all possibilities of protection and exercise of rights provided by the Istanbul Convention.
