The Speaker of the House of Peoples Ognjen Tadić met with the newly appointed Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to BiH

Mr. Tadić wished Ms. Bo a pleasant and productive stay in BiH and praised the positive role played by the PRC in the world today. The speaker of the HoP expressed his full support for the One-China Principle and the territorial sovereignty of the PRC. He also thanked his guest for their persistent efforts toward respect for the letter of the Dayton Peace Agreement.

Chinese economic investment in the Republic of Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina represents a very good basis for the further development of economic co-operation between the two countries. Ms. Bo spoke of the growing interest amongst the Chinese business community in opening new and expandingexisting businesses in BiH. Therefore, Mr. Tadić and Ms. Bo agreed that aditional efforts should be made in assisting this process, namely by exchanging the wider experience of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH and the National People's Congress of China, at both the leadership and parliamentary working body level.
