The Conference “Development Strategy of Bosnia and Herzegovina and regional experiences” held in the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH

 
Organized by the Joint Committee on Economic Reform and Development, and in co-operation with the Conrad Adenauer Foundation and the USAID's Strengthening Parliaments in Bosnia and Herzegovina project, the conference “Development Strategy of Bosnia and Herzegovina and regional experiences”, was held in the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, as the eighth conference in a row, under the general heading “Economic and Legal Questions in the Context of EU Integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina.”

Presentations and debates on the topics “Macroeconomic Indicators and Economic Trends” and “Development Strategy and the Competitiveness of Bosnia and Herzegovina” were held, during which it was stated that the classification of priorities is of utmost importance for the launch of systematic economic development, in order to ensure faster and more qualitative improvement. It was also emphasized that exchanges of experience with colleagues from the region, as well as the thoughts and suggestions of experts, would be helpful in planning the steps necessary for the smooth accession of our country to the European Union.
