Representatives Šemsudin Mehmedović and Mladen Ivanković Lijanović at a Conference on the Use of Commerce for Growth and Development in the Mediterranean

 
Šemsudin Mehmedović and Mladen Ivanković Lijanović, members of the BiH PA Permanent Delegation, participated in a two-day conference in Geneva, organized by the Permanent Committee for Economic and Social Co-operation in the Area of Environmental Protection.

The first panel discussion was held on the topic of the “Use of Commerce for Growth and Development in the Mediterranean”, marked by discussion on political stability as a precondition for the reconstruction of trade relations in the region, especially after the Arab Spring. The role of financial institutions interested in energy potential was also discussed. It was emphasized that investing in the democratic development of countries in the region creates the preconditions for stability and security, with the conclusion that there is no political stability without employment in the native counties, thus decreasing population migration.
