The courteous visit of the Ambassador of Poland to the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina
The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina welcomed the courteous visit of the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Krawczyk, to BiH. Bećirović assessed the political relations between BiH and Poland as good, and showed thanks for the support of Poland, as a member of EU and NATO, to the Euro-Atlantic aspirations of BiH.
Furthermore, the Speaker pointed out the need to intensify economic cooperation between the countries, putting the focus on opportunities in the areas of energy, road infrastructure, metal and chemical industry, agriculture and tourism. He stressed the need for further regulations of contracting relations between BiH and Poland, saying that the speeding up of procedures is necessary so that the countries may as soon as possible sign the Agreement on Economic Cooperation as well as the Agreement on Avoiding Double Taxation. Ambasador Krawczyk stated that Poland will continue to strongly support the aspirations of BiH to become a full-time member of the European Union and NATO, and he showed support to the remarks of Bećirović about advancing economic cooperation between the countries.
