The members of the Collegium of both Houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH met with the Delegation of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Croatian Parliament
The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH) Borjana Krišto, the Speaker of the House of Peoples of the PABiH Ognjen Tadić and their deputies Šefik Džaferović and Bariša Čolak talked today with the members of Delegation of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of Croatian Parliament which is in a two-day visit to our country at the invitation of the Committee for Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives of the PA BiH.
Bilateral relations between the two countries as well as regional cooperation issues and support of Croatia on the European path of BiH were discussed at the meeting also attended by Aleksandra Pandurević, Chair of Serb Democratic party caucus in the House of Representatives.
It is commonly stated that there are open issues that burden relations between the two countries, and stressed that good neighbourly relations and common interests of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia are far more significant than problems that can be solved by using positive energy in relations between state institutions
The need to adopt amendments to the Election Law of BiH, on the eve of the general elections in October this year was discussed at the meeting as well. The members of the Collegiums of both Houses of the PA BiH expressed their gratitude to the guests from Croatia for the help and support that this country provides in the process of European integration of BiH. In this regard, it is emphasized that the signed European Partnership Agreement between Croatia and BiH represents a significant mechanism for the concrete technical assistance of Croatia on our country's path towards the European Union.
