Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Šefik Džaferović meets with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to BiH

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Šefik Džaferović, spoke today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to BiH, Haldun Koç.

The interlocutors agreed that the political relations between BiH and Turkey are at a very high level. Such quality of cooperation is also observed between parliaments of the two countries, and in particular it is present in mutual support in international associations, and especially within the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP). When it comes to cooperation between the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, emphasis were on the need to foster good relations of the parliamentary friendship groups and exchange of experiences between the parliamentary working bodies in addition to good quality communication between the leaders of the parliaments.

It was pointed out today that there is a need to make additional efforts in order to strengthen the links of businessmen of two friendly countries and to elevate economic relations between BiH and Turkey to a much higher level. (End)
