Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH received non-resident Ambassador of Finland to BiH in a farewell visit
Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Šefik Džaferović received today in a farewell visit non-resident Ambassador of Finland to Bosnia and Herzegovina with the residence in Zagreb, Timo Rajakangas.
The main topic of the talks was strengthening of bilateral relations and parliamentary relations within them during which it was emphasized that the two friendly countries have to make additional efforts to intensify these ties. Speaking about the relations between the two countries, the officials emphasized that this cooperation should be extended to economic, cultural and all other areas
During the meeting, Speaker Džaferović informed the guest on current situation and significant progress which has been made in the process of European integrations. With this regard, Ambassador Rajakangas stressed that his country supports the accession of our country as well as other Western Balkan countries in the European family, adding that Finland wants and can help through the implementation of projects in various areas with the aim of accelerating the European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Speaker Džaferović expressed gratitude to the Ambassador of Finland for all the support that his country provided to Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially for assistance after the floods that hit our country.
The meeting of officials of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Finland at the highest level will certainly contribute to the overall relations between the two countries, said the Speaker of the House of Representatives Šefik Džaferović and invited the Speaker of the Parliament of Finland to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina.
