Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Ognjen Tadić participated at the 28th Annual Session of the Crans Montana Forum
Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), Ognjen Tadić, participated in the 28th Annual Session of the Crans Montana Forum, which ended today in Barcelona.
Participants of the conference, who were high-level officials, ministers, parliamentarians and prominent lecturers from the world of business and social activities, concluded that the conference represents an opportunity to exchange experience and best practices required for more active cooperation in order to strengthen integration, as well as social and economic development at the regional and global level. It was particularly emphasized that all open issues can be solved only through joint and coordinated efforts of all relevant stakeholders, by not giving up on the achieved level of civilizational values.
Relations between the United States, Europe, Russia, and China and the rest of the world following the change in the US administration and its key actions related to immigration, energy and climate change issues were also discussed at conference.
During the course of three-day session of the Crans Montana Forum, participants discussed the Silk Road and its significant impact on the economic resources of the Mediterranean, Africa and the Middle East, as well as how to secure peace in the Mediterranean and peace among nations, then strengthening the role and influence of women on the necessary changes in society, as well as problems related to the energy security and environmental protection. There were also discussions on water management in the light of climate change, on construction of global transport and maritime infrastructure, shaping the shared future of Europe and Africa, and on issues related to the challenges of the migration crisis.
