The 16th Inter-parliamentary meeting of the European Parliament Delegation for relations with Albania, BiH, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo and the Joint Committee for European Integration of the BiH PA has started

 
The 16th Inter-parliamentary meeting of European Parliament Delegation for relations with Albania, BiH, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo and the Joint Committee for European Integration of the BiH PA started today, organized by the BiH PA Joint Committee for European Integration.

During the two-day session, forum participants will exchange views with representatives of the BiH Council of Ministers and with the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Commission, on the current state of the BiH European integration process, including preparations for a South-Eastern Europe 2020 strategy. Additionally, discussions are planned on the technical adaptation of the trade section of the stabilization and association agreement since the Republic of Croatia’s accession to the EU, as well as the fight against the corruption. Additional discussions will be held on culture, human rights, judicial reform and the the current protests in BiH.

The Inter-parliamentary meeting will end tomorrow with the acknowledgement of a joint statement by the European Parliament Delegation and the BiH PA. (end)
