Conclusion of the 16th Inter-parliamentary meeting of the European Parliament Delegation for relations with Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo – Bosnia and Herzegovina

 
In Sarajevo today, the 16th Inter-parliamentary meeting of the European Parliament Delegation for relations with Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo - Bosnia and Herzegovina concluded with the adoption of a joint statement from the chairpersons of the delegations of the European Parliament and the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH PA). The event took place over the last two days and was organized by the Joint Committee on European Integration of the BiH PA.

The two delegations agreed on a Joint Declaration (attached), after an exchange of views on the state of the process of BiH’s European integration, including: the preparation of a strategy for Southeast Europe 2020; a comprehensive discussion on the technical adaptation of the trade section of the Stabilization and Association after Croatia’s EU accession; the issue of fighting corruption; and discussions on areas such as education and culture, human rights and judicial reform, and the current protests in BiH.
