Milica Marković, member of the Permanent Delegation of the BiH PA in PACE will attend the session of the Committee on Social Affairs, Health and Sustainable Development of the PA Council of Europe in Nicosia
Milica Marković, member of the Permanent Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH PA) in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will participate at the session of the Committee on Social Affairs, Health and Sustainable Development of PACE, in Nicosia, Cyprus, on 12 and 13 May 2014.
As announced by PACE, on the first day of the session, participants will discuss breast cancer prevention and the optimisation of breast cancer services across Europe; new social models in light of the social vision of the future of Europe; as well as violence in and through the media.
On the first day of the session, discussions are planned on the topics of child-friendly juvenile justice and the work of social services in connection with the legislation and practice of removal of children from their families in Council of Europe member States.
On the second day of the session, participants will attend a meeting of the PACE Network of Contact Parliamentarians for the prevention of sexual violence against children. As announced, the meeting will be dedicated to creating optimal conditions for the successful prosecution of cases of child sexual abuse. (end)
