MPs Kušljugić and Prodanović at the annual meeting of the OSCE PA in Baku
MPs in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH PA) Mirza Kušljugić and Lazar Prodanović , serving as members of the Permanent Delegation of the BiH PA to the OSCE PA, will participate in the annual session of the OSCE PA, held in Baku from 27 June to 2 July 2014.
Among the 18 resolutions that will be reviewed and approved by the OSCE PA in the capital of Azerbaijan, there will be a vote held on the Resolution on co-operation in Southeast Europe, praising the progress of reforms in the region on the path to European integration.
In the text of the Resolution the countries in the region are encouraged to continue the process of regional co-operation and fostering of good neighborly relations; while the EU is encouraged to avoid creating artificial obstacles to accession for Southeast European countries.
The agenda of the session envisages a special debate on the situation in Ukraine, and on the challenges associated with the rise of extremism, radicalism and xenophobia. (End)
