Members of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly Milica Marković and Saša Magazinović, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Božo Ljubić and High Representative, Valentin Incko attended the session of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe

 
Members of the permanent Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly Milica Marković and Saša Magazinović, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Božo Ljubić attended a session of the Committee on the Honouring of Obligations and Commitments by Member States of the Council of Europe (Monitoring Committee).
During the session, at which the High Representative Valentin Incko was also present, the results regarding the Euro-Atlantic integration of our country were presented. Furthermore, they discussed the potential further steps, stressing the necessity to implement of the decision of the Court of Human Rights in the case “Sejdić-Finci”.

In his speech, Valentin Incko presented the positive progress in our country. He emphasized the progress in the political atmosphere which resulted in the formation of the Council of Ministers BiH, the adoption of the Law on State Aid and the Law on Census of Population, Households and Dwellings in BIH, as well as the agreement on state military property, which will have an impact on the Bosnian and Herzegovinian position at the following NATO session in Chicago. Incko expressed enthusiasm for the fulfilment of the other remaining obligations.
Karin Woldseth and Egidijus Vareikis, co-rapporteurs for the monitoring of Bosnia and Herzegovina by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, will make a fact-finding visit to the country at the beginning of June to assess the implementation of its commitments and obligations as a Council of Europe member state.
